Ayana Grico killed by a falling rock while taking pictures at Lake Sebu in South Cotabato. The former beauty queen and the voice Philippines contestant Ayana Grico died last June 4, 20104. According to the report, the 23 year old runner up in the Mutya ng South Cotabato was with her friends at the second falls of the tourist spot. The rock fell on her head and was rushed to the hospital but she was declared dead.
The beauty queen was on vacation from her job as a DJ in General Santos City when the incident happened and her remains is now at the Apal Villanueva in the town of Surallah.
The South Cotabato Governor Daisy Fuentes promised that government assistance will be given to the family of Ayana Grico.
After the incident, management of the Seventh Falls temporarily closed Falls 2.
